The entrance to the Waikawa Beach village is splendid — a hundred metres or so of plantings that have flourished. But they’ve flourished a bit too much and it’s time for a trim.
We’ve organised the necessary permissions with Horowhenua District Council, Matt Fogden, a local to help with lopping and trimming the high stuff, and road cones and signs on loan from Tatana Construction in Levin.
The work will take place at the end of July 2017 on a weekend.
Now we need your help: can you provide some labour? Do you have a decent mulcher we can borrow so we can take all those trimmings and feed them back to the land?
If you can help with labour or a mulcher please let us know.
