Give your views on Horowhenua Integrated Transport Strategy

The Horowhenua Integrated Transport Strategy survey closes at 4:00 PM on 10 May 2019.

The Horowhenua Integrated Transport Strategy will recognise the district’s changing travel demands and address its transport challenges over the next 30 years relating to a range of factors including climate change, growth, demography, technology, peak oil, employment patterns, and the wider economy.

Aim of the strategy

The aim is to develop an integrated, multi-modal transport strategy for the district.  It will provide an overarching strategic vision and principles that will be used to guide and inform infrastructure planning, investment and delivery over the next 30 years.

Help us to shape the strategy

You can provide your thoughts on transport ideas and challenges by taking part in our online survey which is available [online] or in print from Council’s Main Office or Te Takeretanga o Kura-hau-pō in Levin, Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom in Foxton, and the Shannon Library. This survey will be open until 10 May 2019.

Please note if you do not have access to a computer you can come into the Customer Service Centre where the team can assist you on one of our computers.

…Tell us about your travel choices and views on our transport network and the provision of public transport services in the Horowhenua District.

Notes: annoyingly, the Topic A survey assumes you travel either for work or education. There are several surveys. The whole thing will take 15 to 30 minutes to complete.
