We’ve checked with Ben Wood from Horowhenua District Council and the spinifex planting is still scheduled to go ahead on Saturday at 9.30, rain or shine (within reason).
Bring a friend, a spade, maybe some gloves for handling plant trays etc. Feel free to wear a mask. There will be a sign-in sheet and maybe a QR code to scan.
Please join us at the north end of Reay Mackay Grove and lend a hand to plant a few plants.
See you there! Ka kite anΕ!
