Notice from Horowhenua Neighbourhood Support

Last week saw a number of vehicles being broken into and a few theft ex cars. Please make sure that you always lock your vehicle no matter where it is parked, Never leave anything of value in your vehicle.

I saw a post this morning on Facebook where people were talking about their vehicles being tampered with, broken into etc. My question was did anyone report these incidents to Police as nothing of this nature was mentioned.

It continually baffles me that people have the time to post things of this nature on Facebook but don’t take the time to report to Police. Then people slam Police for not doing anything. IF YOU DON’T TELL POLICE THEY WON’T KNOW THESE THINGS HAVE OR ARE HAPPENING. So report.

Call 105 or report on-line if something has already happened or if it has just happened or is happening now call 111.

Kind regards
