AGM, Boat Day, Sand Sculpture Day, Sports Day, Ambrose Golf, and a hard rubbish collection are planned for this summer.
We have a crack team of long-standing committee members and organisers for summer activities, as well as willing helpers. Thanks everyone who helps make the summer sports and other activities happen. Here’s a quick view of what’s planned. For detail see the newsletter.

Most activities depend on the weather so check the noticeboard, the blackboard or the website for last-minute updates.
On Sunday 12 November 2017 there’s an orienteering event being held across the footbridge on Walker’s land. No public access that day.
You may see a crowd of folks gathering at the footbridge on Sunday 12 November 2017. It’s a WOA Champs preparation for the Wellington Orienteering Club.
Start times are from 11 am to 1 pm.
AGM
Tuesday 27th December 2016. 3pm at the Hank Edwards Reserve. In the case of
inclement weather the AGM will be held in John Hewitson’s garage, 4 Cathryn Street.
BOAT DAY
Thursday 29th December 11am at river. Friday 30th December spare day 12 noon.

Sunday 1st January 3pm at Hank Edwards Reserve.
AMBROSE GOLF
Monday 2nd January 2017 at 9.30am at Levin Golf Club.

18 HOLE GOLF
Wednesday 4th January 9.30am at Otaki Golf Club. This event will only be held if
there are enough entries.

SAND SCULPTURE COMPETITION
Sunday 22nd January. Judging 3pm. This is held across the bridge to the left.
CHILDRENS BIG DIG
